Remember Remember!

Knockout Team Challenge… It’s A Knockout was very funny and great family fun in my day !!

Well I am a 70′s child so the original It’s A Knockout is a fond and happy memory of what was good about family TV viewing. From a large family, it was pretty much compulsive viewing for all seven of us. We laughed and laughed and laughed some more… how often does that happen in families now ?

Well I recently stumbled on an old web site called” SkoolDays” which has loads of info and stories of old Family TV Prog’s  to reminisce about!

+ It has loads of pics and history from It’s A Knockout - check it out ! Pretty much a definitive guide to all things It’s A Knockout.

Help! Fund Raising for Cancer Charity

Found in the Press & Journal:

A MOTHER who has already raised tens of thousands for charity after her son died of cancer is setting up her own charity to help families affected by the disease.

Stonehaven woman Carol Humphreys, 47, wants to do more to help families with a child who has been diagnosed with cancer.

She has been an ardent fundraiser since her son Kevin died of leukaemia in 2001 at the age of 15. Much of the money raised has gone to cancer charity Clic Sargent…

…Mrs Humphreys is appealing for local firms to get involved and open a stall at the family event. She is also looking for participants to the 10k, 3k and 1k races and for teams of 10 to take part in the It’s a Knockout competition.
