A BIG THANKS to all our fans, supporters and of course customers (a.k.a. Funsters!) for using our “It’s A Knockout” services and games over 2011 … we had the best year so far and we certainly look forward to having more fun and games in 2012.

And we do URGE YOU to tell you friends, loved ones and work colleagues that our events are ‘Knockout’ entertainment! If you haven’t tried the ‘Knockout Experience’ yet then book early because the best dates and weekends soon get get booked up.

Student Freshers Have A Knockout Time

The Hartlepool Mail reports that 1000 local first year students at East Durham College took part in a massive It’s A Knockout event recently.

The students competed against each other in a range of team challenges including massive air-filled courses, inflatable demolition balls, nets, a bungee run and paintballing, as well as seven-a-side football, pancake throwing, penalty shoot-out and crossbar challenge. Sounds like great Team Building Fun!

Army recruitment teams from Catterick, Newcastle and the Rifles, Durham, helped to run the event and also supplied a number of pieces of apparatus.

BBC to make a nostalgic ‘Its A Knockout’ documentary

‘Tis rumoured my friends that the good old BBC are looking to make a nostalgic programme about the good old 1976 It’s A Knockout TV Game… can’t wait !!

It’s A Knockout Raising Money for Charity

The Scunthorpe Telegraph reports that their teams raised in excess of £5000 for their chosen hospice…

A TEAM of Telegraph reporters and staff has made a splash for charity to help raise thousands of pounds. An It’s A Knockout-style competition was held to raise money for Scunthorpe’s Lindsey Lodge Hospice. And organisers said they thought the 11 teams competing, including Team Telegraph, had raised about £5,000. The event, which involved teams hurling themselves across a string of inflatable obstacles, proved a great success… read more here.
